Ten minutes from "Admiralteyskaya"
On December 28, 2011 a new metro station – Admiralteyskaya – was opened. The station exits onto Morskaya Street: the closest street to the New St. Isaac's Office Centre.
The Admiralteyskaya station is the deepest metro facility in Russia and it took ten years to build. For quite some years, St. Petersburgers have called Admiralteyskaya the "ghost-station" as the platform itself existed, but due to a shortage of financing, the completion of construction works was impossible. Today, the station’s hall at ground level is completely new and boasts a reconstructed historical fa?ade. The interior design is devoted to the formation of the Russian fleet during the epoch of Peter the Great. In the framework of the metro system’s wider development, Admiralteyskaya is planned become a hub at which different lines intersect and changing trains is possible.
It takes around 10-12 minutes on foot to walk from Admiralteyskaya to the New St.Isaac's Office Center .
